Major Office Schemes in London are still underway

Developer British Land has recently unveiled plans for the Broadgate Development here in London. The major office scheme will have two main towers rising from a 12-storey podium that supports the 35-storey East Tower and the 20-storey West Tower.

The scheme includes a sustainable strategy set out by British Land in order to target a net-zero carbon in construction and operation. As well as this, the development will have a BREEAM 'Outstanding' certification.

The offices will incorporate numerous 'green areas' terraces with the intentions of creating a more healthy environment designed by Behavioural Scientists from GXN.

Another 'green office' has been won by Mace.  This is a £140m project next to Crossrail's Farringdon Station. The site will be developed in to a 11-storey 200,000 sq ft office space. The offices will include terraces and views that span right across Central London. Another development winning an 'Outstanding' certification by BREEAM.

Recent announcements of new office developments is a positive note for the construction industry, especially in times where working remotely has hugely impacted the demand for office space.
