The Role:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and gain exposure to various sectors within the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.

  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and material pricing to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and ensure comprehensive estimates.

  • Evaluate and recommend cost-saving alternatives without sacrificing quality or performance.

  • Prepare detailed bid proposals and present estimates to clients in a clear and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, industrial, or luxury residential projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
